Earlier this week, Stephen Chidwick has done something that not a lot of poker pros have did before him. He won two high-level tournaments back-to-back.

First, he won the $25,000 No Limit Hold’em Event at US Poker Open racking in astounding $374,000. And just a day later, he won the $25,000 Mixed Game Championship tournament at the same event. For this win, he earned $382,500, giving a total of $756,500 in prize money over two days.

Britain’s Stephen Chidwick Wins Two US Poker Open Events in a Row

The 28-year-old Brit is a seasoned pro both on the UK poker sites and at the live poker events. In fact, Stephen has earned more than $10 million in tournament prizes, making him one of the biggest grossing UK players. However, despite his wealthy resume and a massive poker experience, he is still yet to win a WSOP bracelet.

In his post-game interview, Chidwick said, “I’m just running on caffeine and adrenaline right now. I’m pretty happy how I played today. I really enjoyed the atmosphere; it was a very fun experience.”

Despite winning these two tournaments, the race for the US Poker Open trophy continues. Sure, the Brit is in the lead right now, but there is still more to play. The Main Event Final Table is on February 11th when we will find out who will become the 2018 US Poker Open champion.

So, let’s hope that Chidwick’s good luck continues to follow him for a couple more days at least.
