They are available worldwide, including some parts of the USA, and they have a loyal player base. However, Intertops is not without flaws, especially in the software department. So, what do you say we cut this intro short, and get right into our Intertops Poker review?

How good is the competition

Intertops Poker has a big and active player base. If you want to play regular cash games or you want to participate in tournaments, Intertops Poker will have plenty of action for everyone. Sure, at some hours, you might experience a low number of active players, but luckily, this doesn’t occur that often.

As for the competition, it can be both tough and loose. Intertops doesn’t have many high stakes games, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t come across any high-level players. Even though most of Intertops players are casual and you will mostly play low stakes games, be prepared for some tough competition, especially while playing tournaments.

Game formats

When it comes to game formats, Intertops is quite disappointing. They only offer variations of Texas Hold’em and Omaha poker. Texas Hold’em is available in limit, pot limit, and no limit variations and Omaha is available in Omaha High and Omaha Hi/Lo variations. Even though in most cases this is more than enough, some players that want to play stud poker won’t be able to do so on Intertops platform.

Poker tournaments

Intertops offers a stellar tournament experience. They organise everything from live tournaments to daily freerolls. If you want to test your poker skills against other players in a variety of tournament formats, then you will be amazed by what Intertops Poker has to offer. Just an FYI, Intertops is a website known for their casual player base, so if you want high stakes tournaments and tough competition, this is not where you will find it.

Daily Freerolls

First, Intertops is holding three free buy-in tournaments each day. All registered players can enter, and they can win tickets for Intertops’ other tournaments. For example, first place will get a ticket for the Sunday $300 tournament, second and third will get a ticket for the Sunday $200, and so on. First, let’s talk about the most important bonus for all new players, the Welcome bonus. Yes, it’s awesome, and yes, it’s easy to clear. Only Windows users have an official support with a downloadable version. Yes, even Intertops Poker mobile options are non-existent.

Sure, there are some bypasses to play Intertops Poker on your Mac and mobile devices, but that involves downloading third-party software that I cannot recommend. I am here to review their official services, and not some clever solutions that poker players managed to come up with so they can play Intertops Poker on their Mac computers.

Mobile support

Unfortunately, don’t expect to see Intertops Poker mobile app anytime soon. I don’t know how an online poker platform with such good reputation as Intertops still doesn’t have a dedicated mobile app for their poker services.

Overall, Intertops software is a huge letdown. The lack of compatibility with platforms other than Windows and subpar visuals are not what I would come to expect from a big-name company like Intertops.

Sure, the instant play version has all necessary features, but we are in 2017, and every serious online poker company should have a mobile app for iOS and Android devices at least.
