The worlds of online gambling and Formula 1 racing are shaking hands again through a new corporate partnership. Entain, the parent company of two very popular gambling sites, PartyPoker and PartyCasino, signed a partnership contract with the Formula 1 racing team McLaren Racing.
The information about the partnership was revealed in a PartyPoker blog post. According to the article, the partnership officially launched on May 23, with the two sides signing a multi-year contract.
The blog post also expands on the reasons for entering the partnership: “The partnership is fitting because both Entain and McLaren Racing are at the forefront of technology in their respective industries. Both love entertaining first and foremost, and both companies share a common approach to safety and responsibility.”
As part of the deal, the recognisable branding of PartyPoker and PartyCasino will be featured on the cars of McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo, as well as on Ricciardo’s helmet. The first event the new branding appeared on McLaren’s equipment was the legendary Monaco Grand Prix that took place on May 23.
Of course, PartyPoker and PartyCasino players also have great things to look forward to as a result of this deal.
Firstly, Entain announced the arrival of McLaren-themed casino content on the aforementioned poker sites. The sites will feature ‘access all areas’ games as well.
Secondly, Danial Ricciardo will take part in a special poker tournament, which will be accompanied by a behind-the-scenes video.
PartyCasino and PartyPoker will also hold exclusive competitions whose winners will get access to the Grand Prix and McLaren Technology Centre. The centre is a sprawling complex with impressive architectural solutions, housing McLaren’s manufacturing and research facilities.
Lastly, players will have an opportunity to become ‘Inside Track’ reporters on the progress of McLaren’s team.
CEOs from both Entain and McLaren shared their enthusiasm for the newly formed deal. The chief executive of Entain, Jette Nyggard-Andersen, stated: “We are immensely proud to be partnering with McLaren Racing, a team who is synonymous with creating thrilling entertainment by constantly innovating and staying at the cutting-edge of technology.”
McLaren’s CEO, Zak Brown, said: “We look forward to starting our partnership with Entain from this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix and the activity we have planned together in creating moments of excitement for fans and customers.”
While this partnership is definitely lucrative for both parties involved, fans of popular poker sites are sure to enjoy the newly added poker promotions and opportunities.
